Laura has always been involved with real estate. Home and homemaking really gets her going! Before turning her full time attentions to ROOMS by Laura G. she invested 15 years helping folks fulfill their dreams of homeownership as a liscensed NC Real Estate Broker. These days she prefers to leave that to the local agents, but you can be sure that if anyone knows what sells a house, Laura does.

Laura's decorating panache and keen sense of marketing led her to educate her sellers on 'setting the stage' long before there were television shows about it. Her clients trusted her to market their property and create signature spaces that made their house memorable to buyers and agents. They followed her advice and gave her a free hand to arrange things so the home's best features were evident. It was a win-win for everyone.
When the opportunity to live in Dublin, Ireland presented itself Laura was exposed to a myriad of cultures. She traveled extensively throughout Europe and her sense of style reflects the richness of those experiences.
Today she resides in Charlotte NC and holds certifications in Home Staging, Room Redesign and One Day Decorating. She received her formal training with internationally known decorator, trainer, speaker, and editor, JoAnne Lenart-Weary who has appeared on HGTV's 'Decorating Cents', and is a weekly guest on WJET-TV, an ABC affiliate which has dubbed her the 'Queen of Decorating.'
